Our Vision

Norwegian was always my favorite subject in school, and I knew early on that this was something I wanted to study further. I now hold a bachelor’s degree in Translation and Intercultural Communication and a master’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Agder.

Since completing my master’s in 2021, I’ve been working as a Norwegian teacher and content creator, helping hundreds of students from all over the world learn Norwegian — both in the classroom, online, through social media and through private lessons.

Teaching Norwegian isn’t just my profession — it’s my passion. I love being creative, designing engaging materials, and finding new, simple ways to explain even the trickiest parts of the language. The best part of my job is seeing that lightbulb moment when everything suddenly makes sense — and, of course, all the laughter we share along the way!

In addition to teaching, I’ve also run my own business, offering private Norwegian lessons as well as translation and proofreading services. For me, teaching Norwegian is more than helping people learn a language — it’s about helping them connect with Norwegian culture and feel at home using the language every day.

I’m originally from Poland, but my language journey began when I moved to Sweden in 2017 and later to Norway in 2020. That’s when I fell in love with the Norwegian language. I learned to speak Norwegian fluently in record time, and my passion for mastering the language quickly turned into a deep fascination with how to both teach and learn Norwegian.

While Yvonne has a gift for teaching Norwegian, I know exactly what it’s like to be on the other side — learning it. I’ve tried countless Norwegian courses and read almost every textbook available. I understand what’s difficult, what causes confusion, and what truly helps learners make progress. Over the years, I’ve developed countless tips and tricks that helped me master the language, and now I love sharing them with others.

For me, learning Norwegian isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary — it’s about becoming part of the Norwegian life and culture. I love using the most typical Norwegian expressions, playing with pronunciation and exploring all the small details that make this language so unique.
